Washington County Central Committee meeting begins with social time at 6 p.m. and meeting business at 6:30 p.m.

Correction:  The social hour will start at 6pm!  The meeting will start at 630pm!!!  Sorry about any confusion.

Just a reminder to everyone that the Washington County Central Committee has a really important meeting coming up next month.  We will be having our regular meeting but we will also be having our County Convention.  At the County Convention is when we elect delegates to the State.  It's important that all members come to this meeting.  We will also be electing a new chair due to the resignation of Tim Freeman.  The chair we elect will only serve out Tim's term which ends in January.  Due to the rules of the Democrat Party of Arkansas the candidates can only be male, as we have a female Vice Chair.  In January the Chair's election will be open to either male or female. 

 

I hope to see you all there.  The meeting social time usually starts at 630pm.  The meeting will have to start at 6 pm since we have so much to do. 

 

The meeting will be held at our regular place, the Homewood Suites.  It is located at Wedington and I-540 just behind the Holiday Inn Express.
